Swan Networks provides email, virus protection, spam filtering, and mobile device synchronization with all hosting packages. It is critical that data and network integrity is protected at all times. Swan Networks continuously monitors and maintains these services to provide users with effective and efficient communication with its customers.

Exchange/Outlook Email Service
Swan Networks offers all clients email service. Microsoft Exchange 2007 is utilized to provide enterprise email for your organization. Outlook provides clients with public folders to allow shared calendars, contacts, notes or mailboxes. Distribution lists are setup based on needs of individual clients. User mailboxes are available to sync with compatible mobile phones giving users further functionality and access to email remotely when access to a computer is not available.

Spam Filtering
All email traffic that is received is scanned for spam content. The latest technologies are implemented to prevent spam from entering the users mailboxes. Updates are performed hourly on all spam databases to ensure users are protected from unsolicited email.

Virus Protection
Several layers of virus protection are utilized by Swan Network to ensure no virus or threat enters Swan Networks. Several different virus protection agents are used at different levels throughout the network starting at the firewall, to the servers, to the applications, to the users computers to eliminate the risk of viruses.

Mobile Device Synchronization
Microsoft Exchange offers the ability for users to synchronize their individual mailboxes to their compatible mobile device. This gives the clients the ability to send and receive email from anywhere there is wireless phone coverage as well as check and update their calendars and access their contacts.
